Talented Kids Being Talented of the Day: The fifth-graders of the PS22 Chorus strike cute gold yet again with a heart-expanding cover of Pheonix’s “Lisztomania”.
This must be the longest a sure thing has ever had to wait to become a TV show.

This is both heart warming and disgusting.
Heart warming becos it’s an awesome song that was covered admirably by a bunch of kids who probably still wear Ben 10/Bratz underpants. Disgusting because it’s gonna bring forth an onslaught of cheesy, overly inspirational “don’t let anyone tell you you can’t succeed in life just because you’re different/unpopular/dumb/ugly/fat/hispanic” movies - the kind that used to have Sandra Bullock/Morgan Freeman in lead roles but have been repackaged for the new generation with music by Broken Social Scene, featuring Jason Schwartzman as the affable, dedicated yet, emotionally torn school teacher.
Awesome video nonetheless. Bloody kids gave me goosebumps during the first stanza. Which is my own fault, really - cos I was expecting them to suck balls.
