#34: “Ironic” - Alanis Morisette (1996)

Oh Alanis. You’ve always looked like a really butchy butch. It always makes me giggle hearing you cram one too many a syllable in a phrase. I still cringe when you do that warbly thing with your voice, especially when you pair it with jarring overpronounciation of words like fine (faiyaaiin) and yeah (yeaheahhh).

Also, that thing where you curl your arms inwards like you’re having a spasm / trying to look like a hippie, actually makes you look really retarded.

1996 was the first time I gambled on football (thanks to Euro 96) - balls, half-balls and all that. Stupid England.
