Ignore the slightly pedestrian first eight or so minutes. The shit gets epic from 9:00 onwards. You need to watch it to know what I mean. Attempting to escape from a earthbound, burning aircraft with nothing but your monkey-like agility and dextrous control of the X button has never been captured with so much awe-inducing panache.  

Enslaved is loosely based on Journey To The West. 15 minutes ago, I wasn’t really arsed about it. Having watched it, not only is it in my urgently-want-this-in-my-life list, I’m willing to wager it’d be as “oh fuck me” as God Of War III was and possibly more. 

It comes out October 8 on the Playstation and Xbox 360.
